Tips for a Successful Application
The application requests a draft of a one-page proposal, a link to 3-5min trailer (or sample scene), plus link to previous work.
This application is probably the easiest one you will every complete in your life. The process is designed to make sure all the participants are actively working on a project and can engage with that project through out the program.
Input and upload all requested information and make sure you get a message saying that your information was sent.
Your one page proposal can be rough; the boot camp will help you refine it. From your proposal, readers should get a sense of what your subject is and how you will approach it. We simply want to see that you have a project you will workshop through the boot camp that you have already begun to develop.
Your trailer should also give a sense of film you are interested in making. If you don’t have a trailer, you can submit be a scene or scenes for a total of 5 mins. Many funding applications require samples and we want to help you get yours in shape.
The boot-camp is to help you take your proposal and trailer to the next level so you are better prepared for the various film funding deadlines coming up.
Please note we will not watch over 5 minutes or read beyond one page.
